Lowell Man killed in hit-and-run accident in Schererville Tuesday night

SCHERERVILLE – Police are looking for leads after a Lowell man was struck and killed by a vehicle late Tuesday night.

According to Schererville Police, it happened around 10:24 p.m. emergency crews were called to the 1000 block of West Lincoln Highway for a pedestrian vs vehicle acciden.

Area accident reconstruction teams determined the unidentified victim was walking across the street  near Bullpen Luxury Bar and Grill when he was struck by a vehicle headed west on Route 30.

No charges have been filed in the incident. 

The investigation is ongoing with police.  Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact Schererville Police.
