MONEE – An instructor accused of aggravated battery of a student earlier this month has been fired.

The Crete-Monee School District 201-U Board fired JROTC instructor Dallas Bibbs, 53 of Crown Point, during this week’s meeting, three weeks after Bibbs was arrested on felony charges.  Bibbs was charged with the felony after an altercation with a student September 1st.

A school board investigators say Bibbs used an improper amount of force while he disciplining a student.  During the incident, Bibbs allegedly shook a student and slammed them against a wall.
