Hazmat Crews Cleanup Diesel Spill following Route 30 Crash in New Lenox

NEW LENOX, IL – Eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 30 were forced to shut down early Thursday morning after a large diesel fuel leak caused by an earlier accident. 

The incident occurred at the intersection just off the railroad tracks, prompting immediate action from hazmat crews. The roadway reopen to traffic just before 6 am.
