Unidentified Gunman Strikes Chicago’s Museum Campus: Leaves Man In Critical Condition

CHICAGO, IL – A man was critically wounded in a shooting incident that took place on Sunday morning at the Museum Campus, according to the Chicago police. 

The incident unfolded at approximately 3:40 a.m. in the 800-block of East Solidarity Drive. The victim, a 19-year-old male, was discovered at the scene with gunshot wounds to his lower back, groin, and left thigh. The victim informed the authorities that an unidentified male approached him and opened fire before fleeing the area. 

The injured man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for urgent medical treatment. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
