Lockport, IL – Blood Drive April 6: Save Lives at Lockport Township Fire District Event

Lockport, IL – Community members have a chance to make a life-saving contribution at the upcoming blood drive hosted by the Lockport Township Fire Protection District.

The event, designed to bolster local blood supplies, will take place on Saturday, April 6th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

According to the announcement on the fire district’s social media, the blood drive is set in the downstairs training room at 19623 West Renwick Rd, Lockport. While appointments are preferred to ensure a smooth process, walk-ins are also welcomed. The fire department emphasizes that every donor can save up to three lives, highlighting the significant impact of each donation on the community’s health.

Participants are advised to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. Photo ID is required for all donors.
