Los Angeles Man Arrested in Illinois: Traffic Stop Yields Cannabis Oil, Thousands in Cash

Chicago, IL – A traffic stop turned drug bust for LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies at the Speedway Gas Station on the 1300 block of May Road in Peru, Illinois. 

According to police reports a Los Angeles resident, Teren Andrew Overbeck, was arrested after deputies reportedly discovered 14.1 ounces of cannabis oil and $5,363 in cash during the stop. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of April 4th, has led to Overbeck facing a Class X Felony allegations for possession with intent to deliver. 

Details from the Sheriff’s Office note the seizure also included 5 kilograms of Ketamine. Overbeck is now in custody at the LaSalle County Jail.
