Christian County, IL – Authorities Seek Leads in Pana Burglary Case

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has spotlighted a burglary incident as their “Crime of the Week” in an effort to gather information from the public. The incident occurred at TLC Tree Service, located on 125 Highway 51 just south of Pana, Illinois. Between March 1, 2024, and April 6, 2024, unidentified individuals unlawfully entered the property and stole several crane straps from a vehicle. The theft is estimated to have caused over $500 in losses, with no other items reported missing at this time.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest in connection with the burglary. In a bid to encourage public assistance, Crimestoppers has announced it will double the normal reward for tips that directly result in an arrest for this week’s highlighted crime. Individuals with any relevant information are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 824-9100, visit the website at christiancountycrimestoppers.org, or text their tip to CRIMES (274637). Tipsters are assured of anonymity throughout the process.
