VANCOUVER– A man in Canada was crushed to death in a freak accident at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
According to Vancouver Police Department, the man got out of his vehicle to retrieve something around 5:30 am when the vehicle rolled forward and crushed him against the building. Several reports indicate it was a bank card the man was trying to retrieve.
Officers tried to revive the man upon arrival with no success.
Vancouver Police called the incident “an absolutely heartbreaking scenario.”
An investigation into the incident remains open by the Vancouver Police Department collision unit and the British Columbia Coroner’s Office.
