Man Electrocuted at East Willow Industrial Site; Rushed to Chicago’s Loyola Medical Center

KANKAKEE, IL – A critical incident took place Thursday afternoon at an industrial property located on East Willow Street.

A man, whose identity is still under wraps, faced a severe electrocution leading to significant burns. Local authorities, including the Kankakee Fire Department, were swift in their response, noting that the victim was conscious at the time of their arrival. 

After an initial assessment and treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital, the decision was made to transfer him to the esteemed Loyola Medical Center in Chicago for advanced care. The circumstances surrounding the unfortunate event remain under investigation.
