Merrillville, IN – Investigators Determine Trailer Park Fire Arson, Up to $5,000 Reward for Info

Merrillville, IN – A fire that broke out of a trailer park Tuesday afternoon has been labeled arson. The news follows a thorough investigation and are now offering a reward for any information that could bring the perpetrator to justice. 

According to Merrillville firefighters, the fire, which broke out on Tuesday at approximately 12:45 PM at 5323 Jennings Place, was intentionally set, as determined by the Merrillville Fire Department and the International Association of Arson Investigators, Indiana Chapter #14.

Officials are appealing to the public, offering up to $5,000 for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit(s). To report information, individuals can call the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628 or send an anonymous letter to P.O. Box 80132, Indianapolis, IN 46280.
