Tinley Park, IL – A wave of green is set to sweep through Tinley Park as the 24th Annual Irish Parade gears up to deliver an unforgettable celebration of heritage and community spirit on Sunday, March 3rd. Revelers can expect the vibrant procession to step off at 1 p.m. from 179th Street, snaking its way north along Oak Park Avenue, with over 80 eye-catching floats, local school bands, and businesses poised to ignite Irish pride across the suburb.

According to the Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Fire Department Firefighter’s Association, the parade will be graced by the presence of WGN’s Brónagh Tumulty as the Grand Marshal, enhancing the cultural fervor. Adding to the inclusive atmosphere, the event will feature a sensory-friendly quiet zone from 179th Street to White Egret Court, offering a peaceful parade experience for those sensitive to noise.

Teehan’s Tavern invites the community to mark its historic last day before a transformative redevelopment. As one era ends, another begins, with promises of new memories to be crafted at the Harmony Square Plaza. With gratitude extended to the event’s sponsors, including Apple Chevy of Tinley Park and Local 17 Insulators, Tinley Park is set for a day where tradition meets contemporary celebration, inviting all to partake in the communal revelry.
