Minnesota Weather: Scattered Showers Ending, Severe Storms Possible Sunday

Minneapolis, MN – Scattered showers will end from west to east through early this afternoon, bringing highs in the mid to upper 70s. Rain chances return tomorrow evening, with the potential for strong to severe storms.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, mostly sunny skies are expected today, except in western Wisconsin, where clouds will linger until early evening. On Sunday, storms are forecast to develop across the eastern Dakotas in the afternoon, moving into western Minnesota by evening and reaching western Wisconsin after midnight. Some storms may be severe overnight, with conditions weakening by Monday morning.
