Mississippi Felon arrested after gun allegedly found in car on I-57

BRADLEY – A man was arrested Thursday during a traffic stop on Interstate 57 after a gun was discovered in his vehicle.

According to Bradley Police it happened around 10:30 a.m. when officers pulled 33-year-old Charles E Boone of Greenville, Mississippi over for a traffic violation.  A search of Boone’s car allegedly found a gun.  

Boone was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon.  He is currently being held on $20,000 bond at Jerome Combs Detention Center.
