Naperville, IL – DMV Unexpected Closure: Residents Advised to Seek Alternatives

Naperville, IL – The Naperville Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at 931 W. 75th St., Suite 161, unexpectedly closed for the day, causing a sudden change in plans for many residents. 

According to the Illinois Secretary of State’s advisory, the facility will remain closed for the remainder of the day. For those requiring services, the office is set to resume normal operations on Saturday, March 2, 2024. 

Residents needing assistance in the interim can call 800-252-8980 or visit the state’s DMV website at ILSOS.gov for more information on hours or to access online services. The reason for the closure was not immediately disclosed.
