Nashville, TN – Canadian Family of Five Fatalities in West Nashville Plane Crash

Nashville, TN – A Canadian family of five was confirmed dead following the crash of a single-engine airplane in West Nashville. 

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the victims were identified as the pilot, Victor Dotsenko, 43, his wife, Rimma Dotsenko, 39, and their children, David, 12, Adam, 10, and Emma, 7. The crash occurred off the eastbound lanes of I-40 just past the Charlotte Pk exit, late Monday night. Initial reports stated that several passengers aboard were deceased, with ongoing investigations to trace the plane’s origin. 

Both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) responded to the crash.  Investigation into what brought the plane down is ongoing.
