Nearly 3,000 dead in NY, 592 on Thursday

During his daily press briefing on Friday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced 592 people died of Coronavirus yesterday, becoming the largest single-day death announcement in the United States from COVID-19.

New York State’s current death total from COVID-19 is currently at 2,935 people.
