Normal, IL – On January 23, 2024, Normal Police Department officers responded to a call concerning an unresponsive male near a tree on West Shelbourne Drive.
According to the Normal PD Joint Media Release, the incident was reported around 3:15 PM. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male, who was subsequently pronounced deceased by the McLean County Coroner’s Office. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until family notification.
The Normal Police Department, in collaboration with the McLean County Coroner’s Office, is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
