Northern Indiana, IN – Sky gazers in Northern Indiana have reason to be optimistic about the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th, as the National Weather Service’s latest forecast indicates decreasing cloudiness by Monday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana, areas like La Porte and Michigan City are projected to experience one of the lowest cloud covers during the peak time of the eclipse, which could provide residents and visitors with the best viewing conditions.

With medium confidence in the weather forecast and temperatures expected to be warm, ranging from the 60s to lower 70s, enthusiasts are reminded to wear eclipse glasses for safety while enjoying this celestial event.
