South Bend, IN – In a proactive measure to ensure campus safety, the University of Notre Dame conducted a comprehensive test of the ND Alert system today.

This initiative begins at 3:20 pm and will encompassed mobile phones, text messaging, emails, and both indoor and outdoor speaker systems. The successful test simulated the alert procedure that would be used during actual emergencies to inform and guide the university community.

By performing regular tests, Notre Dame demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a state of preparedness for any potential campus emergency scenarios.
