Oak Park, IL – Resident Robbed at Gunpoint, Car Stolen on S. Cuyler

Oak Park, IL – A shocking daylight armed robbery occurred in Oak Park on January 11, 2024, as reported by the Oak Park Police Department. 

At approximately 1:09 PM, a male subject confronted an Oak Park resident on the 500 block of S. Cuyler Avenue. The assailant, armed with a firearm, demanded the victim’s car keys. Subsequently, the robber seized the victim’s black 2014 Toyota Corolla, valued at approximately $18,000, and swiftly fled the scene heading south on Cuyler. 

Law enforcement officials are conducting a thorough investigation and request that anyone with information come forward to assist in apprehending the suspect.
