JOLIET, IL – A routine Monday at Plainfield South High School took a tumultuous turn when two 15-year-old girls clashed in the school’s cafeteria.

As a Joliet Police Officer and a campus monitor intervened, they faced unexpected aggression: one student kicked the monitor while the other struck the officer. Thanks to the quick actions of school officials and the police, the situation was swiftly managed.

The identities of the teens have not been disclosed due to their juvenile status.

Both face charges including Mob Action, Aggravated Battery, and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer.
