Palos Park, IL – A deceptive burglary scheme has prompted an urgent community alert from the local police department.

According to police reports the incident, unfolding on Wednesday afternoon near 119th and 86th, involved con artists posing as repairmen to gain the trust of homeowners, particularly targeting the elderly. This ruse burglary resulted in a senior citizen being duped by two men claiming to offer roof repairs, only to later discover her bedroom stripped of valuable jewelry.

The Palos Park Police Department is actively investigating the crime, employing video surveillance and neighborhood canvassing to apprehend the suspects described as two white males in work attire.
