Plainfield, IL – Local Parish to Host Mobile Food Pantry Event

Plainfield, IL – A lifeline for those facing food insecurity in Plainfield will be available this Monday, as St. Mary Immaculate Parish hosts its mobile food pantry distribution event. 

According to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, the event is scheduled for April 1st from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at 15629 Rt. 59, Plainfield. The church urges the community to spread the word and invites volunteers to participate in the efforts to alleviate hunger in the area. 

The mobile food pantry is part of a broader initiative to serve the nutritional needs of the community efficiently.
