Police Investigate Death after finding employees body in Freezer at Arby’s Restaurant

NEW IBERIA, La. – The New Iberia Police Department (N.I.P.D.) received a report Thursday of a evening around 6:20 p.m. of a deceased female found inside the freezer at Arby’s Restaurant on East Admiral Doyle Drive. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the woman, an employee of the restaurant, deceased inside the walk-in freezer. 

The Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office pronounced the employee dead at the scene. Police have stated that no foul play is suspected at this time, but the incident remains under investigation. 

The identity of the employee has not been released. Further details are currently unavailable.
