WOODRIDGE, IL – Tragedy struck on Saturday as an unidentified individual reportedly took their own life at a field near Illinois Tollway Plaza 89 Southbound off 83rd Street in Orchard Field Park.
The police and coroner were called to the scene following the incident.
Residents told Country Herald they had seen heavy police and crime scene investigation activity near the intersection of Cambridge and Janes Saturday morning. Baseball fields and the surrounding area had been taped off, with several police cars present.
