Police Investigate Shooting, Motorcycle Crash at Spinners Tailspin Inn Tavern in Kankakee

KANKAKEE, IL – Kankakee police responded to a report of shots fired at Spinners Tailspin Inn Tavern early this morning around 12:30 a.m. 

According to city police, when officers arrived, they found a female victim who had been shot and transported her to Riverside Hospital. Witnesses informed the officers that the suspect(s) had fled on a motorcycle. 

Soon after, officers were informed of a motorcycle crash at Station Street and Chicago Avenue. 

Two victims were found with serious injuries and two handguns were recovered from the scene. Detectives are investigating the case.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
