Quad Cities: Clear Skies and Mild Breezes Expected This Weekend

Quad Cities, IL/IA – Showers will clear out this morning as a cold front moves through, leaving behind sunny skies for much of the day. 

According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, a secondary cold front will bring scattered late-day and evening showers, particularly affecting portions of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois. Gusty winds up to 40 mph are possible with these showers.

Following today’s weather, expect pleasant but breezy conditions from Thursday through Saturday. Thursday will be sunny with highs between 72-78°F, and similar conditions will continue through the weekend with temperatures reaching up to 80°F. Night temperatures will range from 51-59°F, providing mild and comfortable evenings.

Residents can look forward to a beautiful, sunny weekend, ideal for outdoor activities and gatherings with friends. With mostly clear skies and mild temperatures, it’s a perfect time to enjoy summer fun in the Quad Cities area.
