Quad Cities, IA/IL – Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Midwest Commute along Highway 20

Dubuque, IA – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas along and north of I-80, with snowfall expected to continue into the afternoon and likely impact both the evening and morning commutes. 

According to the National Weather Service in Quad Cities, rain transitioning to snow began this morning, with the potential for slushy accumulation on roads. Commuters in Dubuque, Davenport, and surrounding regions should prepare for slower traffic and exercise caution, especially along Highway 20. 

The advisory remains in place until 10 AM Wednesday, as north winds may gust up to 40 mph. Stay informed on the latest weather updates as conditions develop.
