Quad Cities, IL/IA – Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Over the Weekend

Residents of the Quad Cities should prepare for wet weather this weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are anticipated to begin Friday night and continue into Saturday morning.

According to the US National Weather Service Quad Cities, rain will develop after 9 PM on Friday, with a 60% chance in the eastern parts of the area. Saturday morning is expected to see more rain, particularly in the east, with a 70% chance of showers. Conditions will improve in the afternoon with decreasing cloud cover. There is a slight chance (20%) of additional rain on Sunday afternoon, with temperatures remaining close to normal throughout the weekend.
