Quad Cities Weather: Mild Midweek Before Weekend Thunderstorms Expected

Quad Cities, IA/IL – Residents of the Quad Cities can expect mild weather for the rest of the week, with temperatures ranging from the high 60s to the upper 70s. However, the calm conditions will shift as the weekend approaches, with increased chances of rain and thunderstorms.

According to the US National Weather Service, Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies with increasing clouds and temperatures between 69 to 75 degrees. Thursday promises sunny weather, with temperatures climbing slightly higher to range from 72 to 78 degrees.

On Friday, the weather will start to change as there is a chance of showers. Temperatures will hover between 74 to 79 degrees, providing a warm but potentially wet day. As the weekend begins, residents should prepare for thunderstorms. Saturday’s forecast includes a high probability of thunderstorms with temperatures from 75 to 80 degrees. Sunday’s weather will be similar, with continued thunderstorm chances and temperatures again ranging from 75 to 80 degrees.
