Rockford, IL – The Rockford area police and firefighters are lacing up their skates for a good cause. They will face off in the Annual Charity Ice Hockey Game today, at the BMO Center.
According to event organizers, the game is set to start at 2:00 PM, with doors opening at 1:15 PM. The charity event, hosted by the IAFF Rockford Firefighters Local 413, will benefit local foundations including the Jamie Cox Foundation, Greg Lindmark Foundation, and Heartland Hospice.
Tickets are available at $5 each or a bundle of five for $20, with the purchase including admission and a raffle chance. The raffle boasts enticing prizes like a big-screen TV, wellness baskets, and tools. Tickets for the raffle are drawn during the second and third periods, and you do not need to be present to win.
For those who cannot attend, tickets are available at the Chase Bank building on weekdays or by contacting Heartland Hospice directly. The event will also offer a special promotion for an upcoming Ice Hogs game, with a rebate offered for ticket purchases made through a dedicated QR code.
