SHOREWOOD – Saturday morning, over 300 pumpkins will be handed out to children in the Village of Shorewood’s first ever Drive-Thru Pumpkin Patch.  Beginning at 10am, residents will arrive at Cene’s Four Seasons park to find pumpkins and ‘other fun surprises’ the Village says.

Residents attending are asked to wear a mask upon arrival, costumes and even decorate cars for the event.

“This event will run from 10:00 am—12:00 pm on October 24th and will be first come, first served with pumpkins for the first 300 children. Please enter the park from Seil Road and follow the drive back to the North Parking Lot (Near the ball fields). Participants are asked to stay in their cars while staff & volunteers will pass them their pumpkins. Participants are encouraged to wear masks when in proximity to staff and volunteers.” The Village of Shorewood said in a statement.

The Drive-Thru runs from 10 am to noon.

The event is being held in place of Autumn Fest, which annually draws around 2,000 residents each year.

Autumn Fest was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year.
