Skydiver dies in accident near Skydive Chicago

OTTAWA – A Skydiver was found dead in a corn field near Skydive Chicago.

According the LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss,    Sheriff’s police were notified of an accident north east of Ottawa at 12:23 p.m. Saturday afternoon.  A search of a nearby corn field turned up the deceased skydiver, who’s name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing by the FAA and LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office.
