South Bend, IN – A dense fog advisory has been issued in Indiana for South Bend and areas to the southwest until 10 a.m. EDT.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service Northern Indiana, areas of fog have developed this morning with visibilities quickly dropping to as low as a quarter mile, especially east of IN-15. Motorists are advised to leave extra room while driving, use low beam headlights, and listen for oncoming traffic before turning.

The advisory highlights the need for caution during the morning commute due to sharply reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions.
