Southern Kentucky: Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Forecast for This Weekend

Louisville, KY – Residents should prepare for a potential stormy weekend, with the strongest chance of severe thunderstorms predicted for southern Kentucky on Saturday night and Sunday.

According to the US National Weather Service, today’s weather will be pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 77 to 82 degrees. However, isolated showers are expected late tonight, and scattered showers will occur on Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday night, potentially bringing locally heavy rain to southern Kentucky. The wet weather will continue into Sunday, with temperatures between 75 and 80 degrees.
