St. Louis, MO – Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday afternoon, primarily along and south of the I-70 corridor.

According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, the best chance for thunderstorms will be in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. A few of these storms could become strong to severe, with potential threats including large hail and damaging winds.

For the Memorial Day weekend, the forecast looks unsettled. Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Friday and early Sunday, while Saturday is expected to be dry and sunny. Temperatures will be above normal, although widespread cloud cover and rain chances could result in cooler highs.
