Teen Found Dead next to Indiana McDonald’s Dumpster Sunday Morning

Highland, IN – A teen was found dead next to a McDonalds Dumpster early Sunday. 

According to the Highland Police Commander John Banasiak, officers received a distress call at approximately 6:36 am Sunday, reporting an unresponsive male. Upon arrival at the Ridge Road restaurant location, authorities confirmed the young African American male, in his late teens, had tragically lost his life. 

The Lake County Coroner’s Office was summoned to aid in the investigation and removal of the deceased. 

The incident remains under investigation.
