Tinley Park, IL – Earth Day Amplified: Tinley Park Hosts Week of Eco-Friendly Events and Fair

Tinley Park, IL – The Tinley Park Environmental Enhancement Commission has announced a series of events for Earth Day, inviting the community to participate from April 22 to April 27. The Earth Day celebrations, themed “Earth Day Amplified,” will offer activities for all ages, including at-home family engagements, outdoor excursions, and educational seminars.

According to the Village of Tinley Park, the week-long observance will culminate in the second annual Earth Day Fair. Highlights include a community clean-up initiative, a 3R Day to discover methods to reduce, reuse, and recycle, and a presentation on gardening by the University of Illinois Extension’s Master Gardener Program. 

The activities encourage community involvement in sustainability and will conclude with the Earth Day Fair at the Tinley Park Village Hall featuring local organizations and family-friendly activities. Residents are encouraged to share their Earth Week experiences on social media with the hashtag #TinleyEarthAmplified.
