Tippecanoe County, IN – Georgia Man Arrested for Vehicle Theft

Tippecanoe County, IN – A 26-year-old man from Georgia was arrested in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle.  

According to Indiana State Police, the incident unfolded on Monday afternoon when Radio Region 1 Dispatch received a tip about a stolen car heading northbound on Interstate 65. Troopers McQueary and Whitten responded to the call, locating and conducting a traffic stop at the 175-mile marker on I-65. 

The suspect was reportedly apprehended without incident, and the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered. The swift action of the troopers ensured the situation was resolved safely and efficiently.
