Tornado Watch Issued for Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan, and Northern Ohio Until 11 PM

Indianapolis, IN — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch effective through 11 PM EDT today for several areas in northern Indiana, southern Michigan, and northern Ohio.

The watch warns of potential tornadoes, scattered hail up to two inches in diameter, and wind gusts that could reach up to 70 MPH. Approximately 2.9 million people, along with 1,248 schools and 71 hospitals, are located within the watch area.

Residents are advised to monitor local weather updates and prepare for severe weather conditions.
