Trader Joe’s Recalls Multiple Products Nationwide Due to Listeria Concerns Linked to Cotija Cheese

Monrovia, CA – Trader Joe’s has issued a nationwide recall of several products containing cotija cheese due to potential Listeria contamination. 

The cotija cheese, supplied by Rizo-López Foods, Inc., is linked to a broader recall announced on February 5, 2024. Affected Trader Joe’s products include Chicken Enchiladas Verde, Cilantro Salad Dressing, Elote Chopped Salad Kit, and Southwest Salad. No related illnesses have been reported. Consumers who purchased these items should discard them or return them to any Trader Joe’s store for a refund.
