Traumatic Motorcycle Crash Closes Route 129 in Braidwood, Airlift Ensues

BRAIDWOOD – A major crash prompted a trauma alert Friday night on the 34000 block of Route 129. 

The Braidwood Fire Protection District responded to a severe motorcycle crash around 8:50 p.m. Amidst the chaos, a medical airlift was urgently requested, with Reed Custer High School set as the landing zone. Route 129, between Division St. and Kankakee St., was closed off for an in-depth investigation but was reopened by 10:45 p.m. 

The identity of the victim and current condition has not been released.
