President Donald Trump is being mocked a day after his daughter posted a similar pick, using his office to endorse Goya food products in an Instagram post Wednesday. Goya’s CEO made comments at the White House that have since called for a boycott of the product.
It’s the second time Trump has used his Instagram to promote the product, in the last seven days. On Friday, Trump posted a graphic that simply read “I ❤ Goya.”
This comes at a time in America’s history where the country is struggling to maintain its own sanity and deals daily with the psychological trauma and lack of leadership this administration has given during crisis. As of Thursday morning, the U.S. leads the world in deaths due to the pandemic with 137,419 and nearly 3.5 million had been infected.
To put that in perspective, it’s 46 times the amount of people that died (2,977) on September 11th, 2001. So there you have it. Over 46 times the casualties in the United States since March and our President is just about as focused as a 1920s hobo on world events.
Ethics rules be damned.
Only truly incompetent monsters have the time and talent for this next level bullshit.
If it’s Goya, it has to be good.
