BRADLEY – The Village of Bradley is making moves to ensure Firefighters and EMS workers view the City as a more desirable career landing spot.

During Monday night’s Village Board meeting, Bradley approved a tuition reimbursement policy  for Fire Department employees.  A probation period of a few months would go into effect before the Department would begin paying back tuition fees up to 100% for full time paramedics and EMTs.  Any member of the Department would qualify for the reimbursement.

A pay raise for part time firefighter was also approved during the meeting, meaning a part time firefighter will soon make around $21 an hour on average.
