Joliet, IL – The Joliet Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to locate 37-year-old Robert Long, who vanished under unclear circumstances. Last seen on April 11, 2024, at his residence located at 316 North Bluff Street, his sudden disappearance has sparked concerns among local authorities and the community.

Robert Long is described as an African American male, standing between 5’6″ and 5’8″ tall, and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and is known to wear a moustache and goatee. Notably, Long has a distinctive tattoo with the letters “CPT” on one of his forearms, which could be crucial in identifying him.

On the day of his disappearance, he was dressed in a red jacket, blue jeans, and sunglasses—a description that law enforcement hopes will help in their search efforts. The Joliet Police have issued a call to action for anyone who might have seen Long or has any information regarding his current whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or reach out to their non-emergency line at (815)726-2491.
