Wheaton, IL – Annual Briar Glen Bulldog Run Set for May 19th

Wheaton, IL – The community of Wheaton gears up for the annual Briar Glen Bulldog Run scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2024. The event will begin at 1 p.m., attracting runners and spectators alike to this spirited local tradition. 

To facilitate the event, several Wheaton streets will be temporarily closed from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., including segments of Briarcliffe Blvd., Brentwood Lane, Cambridge Lane, Sussex Lane, Nottingham Lane, and Windsor Drive.

The Wheaton Police Department will staff these closures with uniformed officers to guide traffic and ensure runner safety. 

Local residents and motorists are advised to anticipate minor delays and may want to consider alternate routes during these times. The city has released a detailed map of the affected areas, available on the official Wheaton website, encouraging community cooperation to make the event a success for all participants.
