White Sox, Manager Rick Renteria agree to part ways

CHICAGO – After making the playoffs for the first time since 2008, the Chicago White Sox and Manager Rick Renteria have agreed to part ways.

The team made the announcement Monday.

Over the course of the last four years, Renteria posted a record of 236-309 record. In 2020, the team finished with a record of 35-25 before being knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by the Oakland A’s.
