Will County DUI Checkpoint Set for Saturday Night to Enhance Road Safety

Will County, IL – The Will County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a DUI Roadside Safety Checkpoint on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, the checkpoint aims to promote roadway safety through DUI enforcement. By implementing random and periodic checkpoints, authorities hope to dissuade the public from drinking and driving.

The Illinois Memorial Day Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is funded by federal highway safety funds administered through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
