Crest Hill, IL – Authorities have provided new surveillance images of suspects involved in the recent lunchtime shooting at Merichka’s, a suburban restaurant in Crest Hill. The images, which show two suspects fleeing the scene, were released to aid in the ongoing investigation of the incident that occurred on April 2nd.
The Crest Hill Police are asking residents to review their own footage, highlighting the time frame between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM when the suspects were seen running north from the scene and walking south on Oakland around 1:05 PM.
While the shooting resulted in property damage, with Merichka’s being one of several businesses struck, there were no reported injuries. The community’s assistance is solicited to identify and locate the suspects, with the Crest Hill Police urging anyone with information to come forward to ensure public safety and resolution of the case.
