Increased Patrols Target Impaired, Speeding, and Distracted Drivers in Kankakee County Wednesday Night

Kankakee County, IL – In a bid to enhance road safety, Illinois State Police have announced an increase in patrols targeting drivers who are under the influence, speeding, or engaged in distracted driving in Kankakee County later this evening.

These efforts are part of the Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) Patrols initiative, specifically designed to curb traffic-related offenses and promote safer driving practices. 

The operation is funded by the State Department of Transportation, reflecting a continued commitment to reducing accidents and ensuring the well-being of the community’s motorists.
